Howdy friends and family and sorry for the major lag of blog time we have had. There are tons of updates The Lodatos have to share, its been a busy few months.
I had to look back to what i posted in March to find out what I need to talk about, yikes. Well if you have not heard I did not get the security job here at T-Mobile. In light of the news of AT&T they changed the job description and after a very grueling 2nd interview I knew something was up - yet they had not told me yet. That was the worst interview ever, I felt belittled by the people I thought were friends and worst they kept going asking me things that I did not know even when I told them I did not. After an hour of sweating through the interview (literally) I returned home with a migraine that lasted 2 days.
From all of that fun came a fun little twist. I was updating a friend of mine on the job situation and she sent my email to her husband who offered me a job at Microsoft.
So after a month of emails, interviews (that were awesome!) and researching information I formally posted my notice at T-Mobile last Thursday.
Thursday May 5th will be my last day as i am taking off the 6th for when Sue is in Grandma Lodato is in town for Riley's 2nd birthday.
I now officially have short-timers; i dont want to come to work at all or do anything while I am here. I really have no motivation so its very hard to work all day knowing that there is this kick ass job waiting for me a few weeks out.
Ahhh but I plug away and today through the 5th I am documenting and training people that will replace me.
The new job will be on the main campus of Microsoft in the "Pirate" team (anti-piracy) so yes I get to see ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR all day, i cannot wait!
I could tell that I have not been on the interview road show in sometime when I went to fill out paperwork and they asked me for my 2 pieces of ID like I carry that around all the time. The lady looked at me and said: well when you fill out paperwork you need to bring these things. I then had to explain i have not had to apply for a job since 2000 and I think that shut her up since that is probably when she was in kindergarten. Damn yougins'.
Ok so enough about me; Andy is on the last very leg of getting his new space for his practice! WOOT WOOT! They have been looking at a much larger venue and now are just in the last of the signing of the paperwork. I am not sure on the dates, but I will make sure to post pictures when they are all moved in.
Very excited as they now will have space to move around in; right now its a bit of a tight squeeze.
We are days from Riley's 2nd birthday on May 1st, I cannot believe my little itty bitty baby is going to be 2. I shouldn't say itty bitty she is a full on tank. I get asked all the time if she is 3 since she is so big, she is even bigger then some of the 3 year olds in her current day care class.
Speaking of which with the new job comes a shorter commute (WOOT WOOT!) and a change of daycares. I know Riley is going to be super sad saying good-bye to her friends there so I chose to enroll her a week earlier then my start date at Microsoft to slowly transition her into the new place. She will start on Monday the 9th and stay there for a few hours Monday/Tuesday then by Friday she should be in full-time.
We are super excited for Riley's 2nd birthday party as well. We have been planning it for a bit now and we are getting closer to the date.
Riley is now 29 pounds and I am not sure how tall, I cannot keep her still enough to measure. :) She is in 3T and 4T depending on the brands and size 6-6.5 shoes. She has officially grown out of her Seahawk cap so i am looking forward to fall to get her a new one.
Well that is all i have for now and better get back to looking busy. I hope you all had a great Easter!!!!

Is it really March already???
I was looking at the calendar today and realized that we have less then 2 months and my baby is 2!!!! It totally seems like it was just the other day when she was still small and not talking just drooling and well being a baby.
Now she is totally a toddler in all parts; she has grown i swear 6 inches, talks a mile a minute and can read and play with toys I did not think she would be able to yet. AKA she is the smartest kid ever. :)
A few weeks ago i took out 2 puzzles that a patient of Andy's gave us. They were for 2-4 year olds but I figured she would be ok with it. We played together once and after that she would pick up the piece and point to where it would go. She was not able to put the pieces in the puzzle but she knew where they went. Yesterday I took out the last puzzle and without missing a beat, she watched me do it once and then pointed the very next time to where the pieces went. :)
She is also able to count to 20 with assistance. She has been able to count to 10 for a while now, but only when singing or prodded. When we count to 20 she cannot say seventeen, but I know what "seen" means when she tries.
Potty training is still working and we do it daily but not push her into it. She goes when I go and she goes every 2 hours at daycare. They said she is doing very well with this and she is ready for pull-ups at school! I am so excited she is on the next step!
So once her next pack of diapers is through, we are moving her over to pull-ups.
This last Saturday was Alex's 2nd birthday party and Riley had a blast! We got there aboutn 10 minutes early for the party and it worked out perfectly as Riley had a bit of time to play with Alex before all the other kids showed up. They saw each other and squeeled then started chasing each other around laughing, it was the cutest thing ever.
They held hands a few times and played with all sorts of toys together.
The birthday party was a blast and Riley was soooo tired at the end of it she collapsed on the floor rolling around rubbing her eyes. I put her in the car at 1pm and she was out at 104 :)
I let her sleep in the car and when she woke up, whoa it was nuts. I had to rock her for a bit but she was in a baaaad mood the rest of the day. In the late afternoon we met our friends the Werners at the Bellevue Childrens area to play and then eat dinner at Red Robin. The place was super packed and it was like kiddie surivor so many kids running around, clipping other kids, running into each other - it was frightening. Riley was not having any of it and we had to ditch that idea and head to Red Robin where we enjoyed a nice dinner with adult beverages!
On other fronts, I am waiting for a requsition to post at work so I can apply for this new job. I am super excited as it is back in Security AND would put me back in Factoria. This would cut my commute to nothing and I would be doing something I really really want to do. Double win!
Andy is still in school and I am sure I wil be writing this for years and still saying that. He is working so hard at getting everything done and with the hours he puts in at work, he is always busy but the good kind of busy!
We had a blast Sunday with Riley as Andy was able to do his school work on Saturday while we were at the party. We went to Costco and Home Depot then when we came home i grabbed her big outdoor jacket and we played ball for a very long time. Kicking, throwing, rolling the ball all around the driveway - she had a blast! She wanted to know where Sherman was, so we strolled over to Fred our neighbors house and she was able to see Fred and her favorite puppy (sherman is no puppy btw he weighs like more then i do!).
Over our Skype session with Gummy and Papa Yaya she went nuts running around doing laps around the kitchen like a mad woman. We think she was trying to show off, but it was very funny as she got super excited.
Well not much else to post for now. I am on a loaner laptop and don't have any of my pictures or videos to share as they are on my computer that is being worked on. I will update everyone soon with some cute pictures of Riley and her boyfriend Alex when I get my laptop back!

Punky Brewster is alive!
Punky has nothing on our little rugrat; she is full of her own style now-a-days. She tells me "no" when she does not want to wear something and when I ask if she likes it if she says "mine" that means yes as she wants to steal it.
Check out her own outfit creation, this is an apron and a doll dress on her head that she think is a hat:

We are in the pre-terrible 2s or they have arrived early. She is strutting her independence all over the place and making sure she is not only causing us frustration but physical pain as she is still into hitting. :(
We have long chats but they seem to go in on ear out the other, or she says "yes" then follows up with doing whatever we just told her not to. oh well, we knew it was bound to rear it's ugly face one day.
In other news, Riley was moved into the "Pre-Pre-School" Class as she passed some of her requirements to get in there. She is youngest kid in the class, when they don't bring in Chase, so she gets to see the older kids talk/play. I have been there a few times during snack and get to watch her socialize with the other kids and she even cleans her table and chair before she is done. The teacher told me that she is the little "teacher" herself always telling the other kids to sit down and helping them with their chairs.
Friday i picked her up and she had 3 stickers on her coat. She got them for each time she used the "big girl potty"! So i looked and she used 1 diaper all day since it was dry, she went all the time in the potty! I was in shock! So that night I got her home and told her how proud I was and she ran into the bathroom and wanted on her potty.... and she went again!
She is really getting use to this and I really do believe a lot of it has to do with daycare since she can see other kids going all the time. WOO HOO DAYCARE!
This weekend Grandma Sue arrives in on Friday. Riley calls her: Gummy Yaya. Grandma's cat is named Raja, Riley cannot say it so she calls her yaya. So Gummy Yaya is heading in on Friday and we are spending some time with her before she heads up to Lori's condo. Should be fun for Riley, she only gets to see Yaya on the computer during our skype sessions.
Ok well that is all i have to blog right now, nothing really going on for the rest of us!
(she wanted to take a picture too!):

Long Time No Blog
Yeah yeah, its been like 7 months since I have blogged so this message should be huge right? NO :)
The Lodatos have been busy busy bees, so much going on then other times nothing!
Since May let me see, Andy has officially finished his first semester of his PhD program. WOOO HOO! now only 3-4 years left to go :) Riley and I are so proud of him.
We had a lull on the house projects and decided that we are finally getting in drywall guys to come in and finish the laundry room and our bedroom closet; finally going to get this project checked off! once the drywall is done, i get to paint and THEN we are moving on to tiling! Hopefully Jack will come over and teach Andy and I how to do this as we really want to learn.
The next project would be the master bathroom. It needs a bit of an overhaul. Jack installed the new shower and tile in a few years ago which is great but the sink/vanity and vinyl floor look like poo. So we are going to tear that all up and replace it all... eventually. looking for volunteers. :) TEE HEE
Andy's practice is going very well, he is always busy and working OT so that is a good thing for a life of a small business owner. We just need to somehow fix the commute issues we have and we are golden.
My work is a different story. Unfortunately they chose to eliminate my job so I get to train contractors to replace me on a job I love. ugh :( I still have a job, just not the one I like. Anyways on to more exciting things.....
Ok on to Riley since she is the fun part and the reason most of you read this blog. :) Riley is getting huge! she is 27lbs and we are not sure how tall, but she is getting taller all the time. She is fully in 2T sizes but there are a few brands and clothing styles she is in 3T.
There have been a ton of changes at her daycare, a lot of teachers have left and her boyfriend Alex left. :( she brings him up all the time and I know she is sad and not sure where he went. She "talks" to him over her fake phone and nods and says: "Alex all gone", so I know she knows he is gone.
She still has Chase and Ethan her other friends but the rest of them have left the daycare.
Dropoff has been a hit or miss in the morning at daycare, once in a while she does great and runs off to play and other times she clings to me and tries to climb up me like a tree.
She is making a calendar for us as her yearly project so i am excited to see what that looks like.
We put up the Christmas tree the first week in December and she was very excited in decorating. She handed Andy decorations and helped pointing out where to put them. There are a few presents already under the tree and the ones from Santa are there too since this is the last year we can do that. We have the "plate" where santa's cookies will go and we cannot wait for her to start her own Christmas memories. :)
I am so excited for the morning of Christmas and she gets to learn this year after year here at home.
Ruth made her a matching stocking sock that matches all of hers and we have a few items that we will stuff in there, including the traditional banana. :)
We got her a few Christmas gifts this year including a new cabbage patch doll that Grandma Ruth made a dress and a slumber bag/pillow for, her kitchen set that we are going to have to put together at some point, a new "big poppy" puppy dog since the one we have I had in HS thought she could use a new one and a few other used toys that I found at my baby sales that she may like.
Yesterday we celebrated Christmas at my parents house with my brother John, Melissa and Case. Riley had a great time chasing and watching Case all night. She was just staring at him and watching his every move it was cute.
She got all sorts of fun presents yesterday; ton of new clothes for future use in 3T and 4T sizes and a very cute doll bathtub with play toothbrush/rubber duck/washcloth and soap. Though the hit of the night was one of the gifts she got from Grandma and Grandpa which was a "doggy medical kit". It was a doggy carrier with a little puppy and all the tools you need to get it better - she loves it! she did not want to put it down yesterday and she demanded to take the puppy in the car with us on the ride up to daycare. It was cute :)
Last week Andy and I took Friday off and took Riley to the Seattle Aquarium for her first visit. We started out first though dropping off the gifts that we purchased for our "adopt a family" for the Holidays. Andy and I decided instead of spending $ on each other that we adopt a family and show Riley what we do with this. We took her shopping the week before the kids and she helped us put them in bags.
The visit to the aquarium was fun and interesting to see what she wanted to see and do. She kept running right back to the touch tank and wanted to touch the starfish and sea urchin things. We tried to take her around to the sea otters and seals but she was more interested in running around and away from us then seeing the animals.
We are going to hold off on the zoo visit until spring time where we hope she will have more fun with it then.
Hmm what else? We sent out an invite for our yearly baby new years party like we did last year, but we maybe canceling it after all. Only 3 people have accepted so we may just cancel it and have the 3 people over just for a low key get together earlier. Not that i can blame anyone; its tough to be out around midnight or earlier with a toddler that you have to wake up and drive home with. So no worries - whatever we do will be fun.
Well that is about all i can think of for right now. I am sure I am missing more but this give me an excuse to blog after Christmas.
If I don't talk to you before: MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

Balloons Balloons everywhere!
We are a few weeks back from our wonderful trip to Albuquerque New Mexico and I am finally blogging about it.
We went to visit Grammie Sue and Papa Ron (Raja kitty too!) and made sure we planned our visit over the weekend of the International Balloon Fiesta! http://www.balloonfiesta.com/
This year Riley was able to focus on the balloons and she was even able to say what shape one of the balloons was - our favorite Mirabel the Cow.
We had a great time down in the 505; weather was great perfectly sunny with no clouds in the sky and just warm enough for shorts. We took Riley to 2 different parks where she ran the entire park and played on all the toys. She loved the swing and we all took turns taking her down the slide.
We also celebrated Papa Ron's birthday while we are down there with a yummy dinner cooked by grammie and the following day another fun Mexican feast from El Pinto.
We were apprehensive about the flight with Riley as she was so good the year before, but now that she is a toddler and more mobile we were not sure what was in store for us on the short 2.5 hour flight. On the way down she did pretty good, she ended up falling asleep in my arms thanks to Tylenol but was pretty cranky for most of the flight.
The flight back was better, though we had gotten to the airport 2 hours early and the flight was delayed... so she fell asleep of course right before we loaded the plane.
We were walking her around the airport and playing with her when all of a sudden she pointed to my back carrier and wanted in. So i put it on thinking she would just get in and want out, but she babbled a bit and we walked around and around - came around the corner to see Andy and he said: she's out.
So the carrier was her bed that morning and she rested until we loaded on the plane.
My biggest saving grave was for buying a selection of new toys. I purchased a coloring book with washable crayons, stickers, a new (cheap) doll and new books and it made her happy for the majority of the flight.
She was a super baby and did not poo on the flight - it was great!

Riley & Mia
This weekend was a very low-key weekend of cleaning, working and playing. Our friends Amber and Mia came over Sunday to spend girl time with us and we had a blast!
I took a few pictures and a few videos. The girls enjoyed chasing each other around the house. Though they both fought over a laundry basket. YIKES! :(

Time of the season
As the short-lived summer season is quickly running away from Seattle - so starts the season of runny noses and cold-like symptoms.
The season is in full swing at the Lodato house Riley has a nasty runny nose, congested chest and is overall Miss Grumpy pants. She wakes up several times a night now and morning decided that 430am was the time to wake mom up.
All she wants is to be held by mom and I wont argue, its wonderful cuddling time!
I kept Riley home yesterday for one big reason but was glad I kept her home to rest as she was not feeling good at all. Yesterday Andy had to take my car into Les Schwab and we threw out another fat wad of cash out to them again to replace the Ford's 4 tires. This is after we had already tossed out a wad of dough for Andy's car the week before AND 2 weeks before that replacing the washer and dryer.
Any bonuses or any amount of $ we had saved is not gone. BLAH :( Sorry Riley you will not be going to college, mama has to do laundry. HA!
This weekend is Labor day and full of festivities for us. Saturday we are headed up to Aunt Sue's house for the annual Horseshoe tournament. Andy is hoping to take home the glorious gold plated toilet seat this year; go Andy!
Sunday is Kendra's wedding (Andy's employee/PT) which we are super excited about. Riley is excited to spend more time with Grandma and Papa Kletchka, though she does not know she will be spending the night yet. Better not to tell her this.
Plan is for us to get there, hang out and get dressed for the wedding, then sneak out before she seems us leave. Usually she is so busy with grandma she could care less about Mom, but with her runny nose she is a bit clingy.
Andy is taking bets on how early I leave the house to pick up Riley the next day. :( And I am sure my mom will be happy when I pick her up, if she continues to do her 'wake up in the middle of night' routine she is on.
If we get some cute pictures from this weekend we will post!
Here are a few that I have put on FB, but had to share:

Just Riley
Not much to update on the Lodato home front. I have not taken Riley to the doctor since before our Houston trip so i am not sure how much she weighs/height or anything.
We have officially moved to 24 months size clothes, pretty much all of her 18 month are done for.
This weekend is the big boy weekend for Andy. Our friend Jason arrived last night and this morning they woke up bright and early to kick off the festivities. They are out playing golf right now and tonight is poker night. Let's hope that Andy wins big! Mommy needs to get her hair done. ;)
Tomorrow night Riley and I are off to the grandparents house for a night in away from the boy night of NFL drafts. Grandparents are very excited to see us, i am sure more Riley but that's OK :)
Here are some pictures and one cute video of Riley eating pudding and telling me what her favorite food is: CHEESE!

Breakdown Time: 4pmPST
So if you ever want to hear screaming and basically a complete breakdown of a child a long with kicking, screaming, hitting, crying and yelling you should stop by the house around 4pm during the week. It's such good times.
Riley has discovered that this hour is the devil and she continues to fight it for about an hour. So stop by! :)
After hearing from daycare that she is "perfect" "never cries" and always having my friends say that she is such a good baby: I say HA! I am providing pictures and videos of the 4pm breakdown as proof she is still cute when she is screaming her face off.
Enjoy! :)

Back to back heat
Happy belated 4th of July to you all! We are back from Hot Houston and glad to be, but I guess we brought the heat with us to Seattle. WHEW its hot! Funny how hot it feels when you have no AC - though I do have to be happy that we have no humidity, that was the pits in Houston.
The last few weeks have been a challenge to say the least. The week of the 21st Riley was acting a bit more fussy then normal and i noticed that there was a larger bump on her gums then normal - woo hoo a molar. I thought 'let the fun begin!'.... little did I know that this was not the fun I was asking for. :(
Thursday the 24th I dropped her off at daycare very cranky and thought it was just her teething issues. I headed down around 11am from Mill Creek to Bellevue (about 35 minute drive), made it into the Dentist office to check in only to receive a call from Daycare. Riley had spiked her mini 99 fever to 104 in the last few hours. They said she was very lethargic and completely not herself. So I headed back to work to get my laptop and off I went to daycare thinking she probably picked up the same daycare crud as last time.... oh i wish. I got her into the doctor and discovered that not one but both ears were infected. The doctor said out of 1-10 scale (10 being the worst) her ears were at a 9, they were pretty bad. Poor baby!
I really had no clue, she was not showing signs of ear issues like they say they do. :(
Anyways, that night we started the first round of antibiotics and so started my time off of work one week early. She started to feel better on Saturday while we were at Grandma/Grandpas but still was cranky. Sunday night we took another bad turn and her fever returned to 103.5. Monday I took her in again and we had to switch the medication and that started the stress of the week. We were flying out Thursday for Houston and she had to be officially cleared by the doctor before as the plane could put too much pressure on her eardrums and they would burst. EEK!
It was a week of playing the waiting game as we waited to see if she would get better and finally on Tuesday the doctor checked her one more time and she was cleared for taking off!
The trip to Houston actually went really well for Riley. I was surprised at how well she did - very little crying and just a few whines here and there. Even with a bad inner ear infection she was a trooper and did great! I ended up brining all sorts of new books and toys for her to have on the plane and I really think some of them were are saving grace. She loved to play with the news toys and we read her new books over and over again.
The trip was really to see family which was great and we took several family pictures that we are waiting on to have delivered. They looked great and Riley there to was a champ!
The rest of the time we had to stay indoors unfortunately due to the antibiotics she was on she could not be in the sun hardly at all. Andy was able to get in a few rounds of golf and Riley and I played and she ate, ate some more and ate more. I swear she ate more then i was eating! I just hope she is growing because we are not sure where she was putting all of that food! :)
We were there for 4 days and even thought it was short, we were glad to be going home on the 4th of July. We spend the night in a hotel near the airport so we did not have to wake up super early and drive the 45 minutes- 1 hour to the airport with Riley - this gave her extra time to sleep. or so we thought... that night in the hotel was rough. We could not even get her down until 12 and we had to get up at 430am to catch the shuttle. You would think we would have been used to no sleep with a baby - but nope, Andy and I looked like zombies that next morning.
We go the airport and I literally was the 2nd person in line at the Starbucks to get coffee - we needed it!
The flight home was great; Riley again surprised us with being such a great baby. She whined a few times but really nothing much - it was great!
I will upload a few pictures later here from the trip for those not on FB and I will upload them all to Shutterfly soon as well.
So what else is new.... oh this Saturday we are having our monthly baby play date with Cole (Mama Carrie), Mia (Mama Amber) and Evan (Mama Tricia) - we are so excited to see your football friends again! I will definitely post pictures of that event as I am sure they will be super cute!

Sick Again :(
The last time i blogged was May 19th and here we are over a month later and she is sick again. :(
The last few days Riley has been really fussy, running a small fever and drooling - which we assumed was related to the molars she is cutting. But after a few hours in today at work, daycare called and said: she is not herself.
I picked her up to a 103.5 temperature and just not herself at all. :(
I took her to the doctor and she had the same infection she had last month just not as bad this time. She will be on antibiotics here in a few hours so I hope to have the old Riley back soon. :)
In other news Riley is eating like a champ. She will take jarred baby food in the mornings at daycare as she really wont eat fruit, but other then that we are fully on solid foods. She is down to a few bottles a day and drinking full time on the sippy cup. Her favorite foods: soy butter or almond butter on bread, hummus (plain) and just eating it out of a bowl and yogurt. She cannot get enough of the latter two.
We have tried most foods on her except for Peanut Butter and Honey - but we were given the green light to try this after she is not sick and when we are back in town.
We leave exactly in one week for Houston and we are getting everything prepared now. There is a lot to pack for a baby and now that she is so active I have to bring lots of fun things for her to do on the plane too.
Here are a few fun photos I have taken; see shutterfly account for more!

New Riley Vids
Now that Riley is viral (and i mean in the Internet virtual world of videos) I have to keep putting more and more up as the demand is so great. :)
Riley is sick this week, been very rough Memorial day weekend. I ended up getting food poisoning starting late Friday night into Sunday, running the gamut of ickiness and a bad fever. This is all the while also having a migraine and trying to comfort a very sick Riley. so the Lodato household was full of sickness..... no wonder Andy wanted to stay away. :)
Riley got a fever on Saturday and wanted nothing but to be held. her eyes were goopy along with her sniffly nose, but at the time other then that she was fine. The fever broke Sunday and we thought she was doing better - alas I stayed home from work and she is sick with a fever again. :(
We are going to the doctor tomorrow as she is not herself. At grandma/Grandpa Kletchkas today as I thought she could use the time out of the house and she is not even very happy to see them, which is rare for her. Poor thing is not feeling well. :(
She just recently lost her voice to top it all off so when she cries there is barely a peep.
Well on a joyful note, i am posting videos of her highlights of the week before. Enjoy!!!!

WE ARE WALKING!!!!!

It's official we are finally walking! After a week or so of spotty steps here and there and laps around the ottomans, Riley came walking up to me at daycare when i picked her up. 6 steps in a row!
Then she went walking after Alex (her boyfriend) and I just stood there shocked and surprised!
Then last night she showed Daddy it was not a one time thing and kept on walking and walking all over the place.
Ok sorry for the delay, here are a few walking videos. Enjoy!

Hanging out with my boyfriend!
I was so happy i brought my camera today - i was finally able to catch Riley with her boyfriend Alex. Alex has moved up to the 1's room (for one year olds) and I think it broke her heart. The daycare will take Riley over for an hour or so during the day and they always tell me that she gets sooo excited to see the other kids, but mainly Alex.
Alex came over to the infant room while the 1's were napping and I was able to catch a bit of them playing. They are 2 peas in a pod, crawling around after each other and playing and yelling as loud as they can - it is so cute.
Enjoy!

First Steps! (supported)
Last night Andy played with Riley and had her stand and use her push cart toy. Just a week ago she would just push it crawling, but last night she stood and pushed it while walking! Now she did look like a drunk sailor on pay day, but still none the less she took her first supported steps! :)
Of course we had to keep practicing and though these videos only show a bit of it, there were 4 actual steps in a row!!!

10 Months!
Well it has been a while since I have updated this ole thing, so dusting off the keyboard and getting down to it.
Riley is officially 10 months 3 weeks - we are getting so close to her 1 year. Where did the time go????
Nothing really exciting to report on the home front. Riley has now 4 teeth (2 front top and bottom) and has a bump next to her right front tooth so I am thinking another is coming in.
The baby teeth I thought were suppose to be small, but these things are huge choppers. When she smiles it fills her smile and it is sooo cute! She does this noise now where she pushes air through the new teeth and it sounds like nails on a chalkboard so that is fun.
We had a bad week where she was on steroids, inhaler and nebulizer for her bronchial infection. She is off them all and seems to be doing ok. She coughs in the middle of the night still, but nothing like she was. I am crossing my fingers that it does not come back.
We are officially out of 12m clothing and full on into 18m and not looking back. :) She was 20lbs at our last appointment last month for her breathing issues, but she keeps eating like she has a hollow leg so I am assuming she is bigger now. I will measure her height here soon - all i can say is that she now looks funny hanging on to me in the front Ergo carrier since she is so long. So I think it is on to the back portion - this should be interesting!
Grammy Sue came last week to visit Mason for his Birthday and came by Friday to spend sometime with both grand babies. She read to Riley and they played and had a good time. Aunt Lori and Mason came down Saturday and we celebrated Mason's birthday by grilling burgers and having berry pie. unfortunately Lori fell earlier in the ngiht with Riley and hurt herself so they left early. We later found out that both mason and Lori got the stomach flu so it was not good. Thankfully Andy, Riley and I did not catch it - just praying that it does not reach us.
Having a baby with diarrhea has got to be the worst, so pray with me that we don't get it. :)
Sunday I had the girls over for a bit of Baby Time and it was great! Except for Riley having to bail out early to nap it all went really well! Amber came with baby Mia, Carrie brought Baby Cole and Cecily came with her camera and some yummy food - we had a great time!
We were not able to get a group photo of the babies since Riley was napping, but here is one that turned out pretty ok:
Baby Cole and Riley

After all the girls left Riley decided to re-arrange her room decor:

I try to get pictures of me and Ry all the time but they just don't turn out very well, this one was pretty good:

I will try to be better and do more postings. Easter is around the corner so I am sure we will get more then!
