Poop & Prunes

Well we have success in one area - Riley just moments ago had her first solid food. Since I had to stop breastfeeding and soley put her on formula....we have had some poop issues. I will leave all the gory details off the blog but lets just say rocks have nothing on her poop.

The doctor suggested we change the formula and try prunes.... and that is what we just did. Check out the fun pic below of her "messy" adventure and the video.

What a week

Well last week was a hell of a week. 3 surgeries and I am left looking like Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Just in time for Halloween because I am sure I can scare most kids that come to the door as is.

I was so glad we were able to get away to New Mexico the week before my surgery as i needed a bit of a break away to forget about all that I was coming back to.

Riley did great on the plane! We were totally shocked, she was overall such a great baby the entire trip. Grammy Sue rented an entertainment center and a jumper for her to play in and she used them everyday and had a blast!

We went to the Balloon Festival and wow it was amazing! I was so glad to finally go to one. Seeing pictures really does no justice to seeing it all in person. The weather the day we went was very cold but perfect for viewing them all!

Well i am going to leave this a short post as Ry is not napping as she use to. She has increased her bottles since I am no longer breastfeeding (had to stop due to the meds they have me on) and I think it is screwing up her system. For those that were waiting... she finally pooped! HA! She was having a rough go of it and finally last night. We were super relieved and well so was she. here are a few pictures of our trip:
