Belly Pix

I never thought in my life I would be taking pictures of my belly.... but here I am striking the belly poses.
This picture was taken last Weds.
This picture was taken last night. Um this is in one week and look how huge it has gotten!

Grandma from Albuquerque sent us 2 wonderful gifts this week for the baby shower early! The first to arrive was our travel system. It is the car seat/stroller combo with a base for one car. I was so excited to receive this set as it will be one of the first items that Baby Lo will be using on it's way home!

The second to arrive was the highchair (that yes matches the same decor as the travel system, our baby has to color coordinate people!) that we have set up. It is our newest addition to the dining room and is all ready to be used. :)
Mark has finished the molding in the baby room, so Andy will be painting the touch ups and we will be putting the dresser together this weekend. We are moving the furniture back and I think everything is pretty much set up. I will update pictures once we have the room a bit more finished.

25 Week Baby Update & House Improvements

Sure baby updates and house improvement postings don't really go together, but ah heck why not post it all in the same blog.

We went in for our 24 week update and everything is totally normal. The heart rate is at 151 and based on that the doctor again is guessing it is a girl. Our doctor has chose to leave it as a surprise as well, so only the ultrasound tech knows what it is and well she better not squeal. ;)
Everything is normal and I am right on schedule for everything. I go in next month for the fun glucola test where you have to drink this red punch crap and have your blood drawn. I really hope everything goes well with the test; especially with my sweet tooth.
I had a dentist appointment yesterday and this is the first time in all of my years that I have had NOTHING wrong with any of my teeth! Amazing. Baby Lo is helping with Mom's teeth? hmm. ;)
Andy and I went to Babies R Us to purchase a gift for Baby Van and we went to update our registry and had fun with the scanner. Andy tried on the baby front carrier and it fit like a glove and he looked so cute with it on. It will be so much fun to put Baby Lo in there.

We decided to do a few house improvements before Baby Lo is running about so we are replacing all the base molding in the entire house. I did not realize how expensive this could be since each piece cost like $5 and only covers like 7 feet, but so far it looks amazing. Our family friend Mark is doing all the work and has done a kick ass job. We have posted a few pics below of the work. We are so happy to have this getting done, funny how bad the house looked before with mismatched molding or no molding at all.

Pregnant with a cold :(

In one word: SUCKS.
I did not realize how horrible a lousy cold could be when you cannot take a thing for it! :( I started to get sick on Saturday and by Sunday morning I was a hot mess. Today is Thursday and I feel much better but I am still very congested, sound like a dude on the phone and my throat feels like it is on fire.
I have not posted pictures of the belly in sometime and I know a few people were hinting around about it. I took one today; please overlook my disheveled appearance I am sick for heaven' s sake!
Peanut (aka Baby Lo) has been very active in the last week. I have not seen a huge growth spurt so I think I am in a lull stage of belly growth, but that has not stopped me from eating!
I have never been one to watch what I eat and well this is the case now too. I will stay away from the foods they tell you to stay away from but everything else is up for grabs. Andy says that I am sure the doctor would love to know that I scarfed down 2 Arby's roast beef sandwiches and a DQ blizzard the other day... hahahaha! Um but she is not on this blog so I can eat like poo if I want to, once in a while ;)

Andy finished the closet system for the baby room and we have a family friend Mark coming over next week to start the trim molding throughout the house. We are going to start in the baby room since we need to get that room done first, then off to the other bedrooms since they don't match and well for the heck of it - the rest of the house. Poor Mark. :(

My mom and I went to pick out fabric for the curtains in which my mom is going to make. I think they are going to look so great in the room! mom is also working on some cute artwork from fabric she found and some cheap frames I was able to find.

Andy and I have to purchase the dresser still but that is the last big item to purchase for the room.

Oh for all of you that have asked, yes we have registered at a few places. We are registered at Babies -r-us and Target. The Target registry is a little weird though as I have duplicates on the list, but I should have that taken care of tomorrow.

Anyways, hope you all are having a great new years! For those of you in Seattle I hope that you have your lifejackets on and the ARK ready to move out. This rain is nuts! :(
