Expressing her wants and needs

This is a repeated statement we hear from daycare almost everyday. I finally had to ask because I am hoping we don’t have the bitch and moan kid there.
But I guess she is just loud when she is bored or hungry and she lets them know. I can second that. Last night I put her on her blanket on the floor for tummy time and went to move something and she did not like that one bit so she proceeded to scream bloody murder. We had the window open and a couple walking by looked up at our window. wonderful now they think we are torturing our child.

Another common theme at daycare is that she is "sensitive". For weeks now on her daily chart it says this and I really did not know exactly what they are talking about until I dropped her off this morning. I put her in a bouncy center across from another baby Ethan for their morning rituals of babbling at each other. (see video below) Aiden (a boy that just moved rooms since he is over 1 now) came over as the 1's room was not ready. His mom put him in the highchair and waved goodbye and Aiden had a meltdown, screaming and flailing all around.
Riley stuck her bottom lip out and just started to howl. She kept staring at him and every time he cried she cried. Soon as he stopped, she stopped. Poor thing! Now I know when they say she is sensitive what they are referring to. I would cry to if I had to hear him scream like that everyday.

I wont jinx myself but saying sleeping is good, because inevitably it will change - but she slept through the entire night last night! She had a rough rough time getting to sleep so we were in bed a bit after 930pm, but she did not wake up until 530am. woo hoo!
The rough night started as Dad had to quarantine himself to the man den downstairs. He felt like a mac truck hit him and we were not going to get her sick again since she was barely over her last cold.
Well that proved to be a bit difficult since that screwed up our nightly routine of bath time. Andy usually preps her for her bath while I get the bath water ready. I bathe her then hand her back off to Andy where he gets her jammies on after I put her nighttime lotion on. He was not there and I think it screwed up her routine. Babies. They are soooo set to a schedule... cannot wait to travel with her. HA!

Speaking of travel we leave in exactly 15 days for Albuquerque to see Grammy Sue and Papa Ron.... and all of our friends down in the 505!
This is our first trip with Riley and it is a pretty short flight about 2.75-3 hours, so this is a nice short flight to see if she is going to do ok.
I remember flying with my nephew Case and all of our family to Minnesota and how much "stuff" you have to bring for a baby. Oddly enough that is the part I am not looking forward to, the checking in/security fiasco. The actual flight I think should be ok as long as I can get her to nurse or sleep for most of it.

Here are a few pictures and videos of the super baby:

Mom & Ry:

I love this picture! Everyone has a great smile and check out Ry she is cracking up!
Ry& Mason; the cousins. I hope to get a picture with Case too so she can get pics of both of her stud cousins!
